Overview: The "Bypass Permission Checks" option in Cloudoffix App Builder provides portal users with the flexibility to skip specific permission checks for fields.
Benefits: This option allows for more granular control over permissions, enabling customization without compromising security. It is especially useful in scenarios where certain fields require special considerations, providing greater flexibility in application development. So portal users will be able to view the many2many and one2many fields only as read-only in the portal view without getting stuck in permissions.
How it works?
When the "Bypass check permissions" field in the Properties tab is activated, record rule are ignored and portal users can see the relevant field.
