How to Create Marketing Campaign Segmentation
Segment Automated Marketing Campaigns
Click on the ‘Marketing Automation’ app which is located in the Marketing Cloud in the App Drawer screen.

In the campaigns screen, Click ‘Segments’ from the ‘Campaigns’ menu.

Click on the ‘New’ button to create a new campaign.

Write a name for the segment, which is a mandatory field.

Select the campaign for the segment to be applied or, create and edit a new one.

Select the synchronization settings.
Determines an additional criterion to add to the filter when selecting new records to inject in the campaign. ‘No Duplicates’ prevents selecting records which have already entered the campaign previously. If the campaign has a ‘unique filed’ str, ‘no duplicates’ will also prevent selecting records which have the same value for the unique filed as other records that already entered the campaign.

Select data to be filtered for the segment

Click ‘Save’ to save the segment.
Click ‘Run’ to activate the segment on the selected campaign.

The progress bar shows the status of the segment.
