You are unique, just like everyone else. CONFIGURATION refers to when you get a product and use the base software to personalize it to make it work best for you. It is basically making changes the software vendor has foreseen that the user may want to make. It does this by using fields, values and functionality that already exists in the software. Just like setting the language, date, time etc. on your phone. You’re not changing anything that hasn’t already been accounted for.

Take for instance the contacts card. You may want to add a birthday field in the Contacts Card because you would like to offer your customers special discounts on their birthdays as a kind gesture and part of your Marketing plan. We can configure our fields and add a new field without the need for any coding skills at all. Let’s go through an example with CloudOffix:
